All project partners actively contribute to our eTwinning project, which closely follows and supports the activities of the Erasmus+ KA220 project “The Power of AR and VR.” eTwinning provides a collaborative platform where schools across Europe work together on innovative educational projects and develop digital and intercultural competences.
In April, students focused on Language Learning in Virtual Contexts, exploring creative ways to improve language skills through digital technologies. As part of this activity, each partner school used Canva and AI tools to design imaginative visual scenarios illustrating the literal meaning of English idioms, such as “an elephant in the room.” Canva and AI-supported tools are increasingly used in eTwinning projects to foster creativity, collaboration, and digital literacy.
This activity combined language learning, creativity, and technology, helping students better understand idiomatic expressions while developing their digital skills and working collaboratively with international partners. Similar eTwinning projects have shown that illustrating and interpreting idioms can effectively support language acquisition and intercultural understanding.
Through these engaging tasks, students continue to discover how digital tools, artificial intelligence, and international cooperation can make language learning more interactive, meaningful, and enjoyable.
