The first day of the International Conference on Metaverse and AI in Education for a Sustainable Society (ICMAIE 2025) concluded with inspiring discussions, innovative ideas, and valuable international collaboration.
As part of the conference, a presentation entitled “Empowering Teachers to Integrate Virtual Reality in Education” highlighted the transformative role of Virtual Reality (VR) in teacher training and professional development. The session explored how immersive technologies can help educators create engaging learning environments, enhance student participation, and support the development of 21st-century skills.
The conference provided an excellent platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences with researchers, educators, and technology experts from around the world. Discussions focused on the impact of the Metaverse, Artificial Intelligence, and Virtual Reality on the future of education and their contribution to building more sustainable and innovative learning ecosystems.
The themes presented strongly align with the goals of the Erasmus+ project “The Power of AR and VR,” which promotes the integration of immersive technologies into education and supports teachers in developing the skills needed for digital transformation.
