This February, students from across Europe are coming together through a new eTwinning initiative focused on an important topic for today’s digital world: Digital Responsibility.
Through “Safer Internet & Our Digital Footprint,” participants are exploring not only how to stay safe online but also how their everyday digital habits can have an impact on the environment. From deleting unnecessary files and emails to using energy-saving settings such as Dark Mode, students are discovering how small actions can contribute to a more sustainable digital future.

Students from different countries are working together in international teams, sharing experiences, ideas, and perspectives.
💚 Green Digital Solutions
Participants are exploring practical ways to reduce their digital footprint and create a more environmentally responsible internet culture.
Creative Finale
The project will culminate in the creation of an interactive Canva guide, designed by students for students, promoting safe, responsible, and sustainable online behaviour.
Through this engaging initiative, young people are developing essential 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, digital literacy, teamwork, communication, and environmental awareness.
It is inspiring to see the next generation becoming responsible digital citizens and active contributors to a greener future.
