For many years, Zespół Szkół Nr 1 im. Henryka Sienkiewicza in Kołobrzeg and Koszalin University of Technology have collaborated on a variety of educational initiatives, fostering the exchange of experience, knowledge, and good practices.
A recent example of this successful partnership was a workshop held on 10 June for students of the Faculty of Humanities. During the session, participants were introduced to innovative 3D projects developed at Sienkiewicz School and explored how modern technologies can enrich the educational process.
The workshop included:
🔹 A presentation on the implementation of 3D educational projects
🔹 Demonstrations of innovative digital learning methods
🔹 Hands-on experiences with Virtual Reality (VR) headsets
🔹 Virtual exploration of historical monuments in Kołobrzeg
🔹 Participation in an immersive virtual school evacuation scenario
Participants were also introduced to the Erasmus+ project “The Power of AR and VR”, which showcases how Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) can be effectively integrated into education through innovative teaching materials and practical learning activities.
In addition, students learned how young people develop media competences through the creation of films, video productions, and music videos, strengthening both their digital and creative skills.
The workshop demonstrated how modern technologies can transform learning experiences, making education more engaging, interactive, and relevant to the needs of the digital age.
A great example of successful cooperation between secondary and higher education institutions, promoting innovation, creativity, and lifelong learning.
