The 4th and final week of the IO2 Piloting within the Erasmus+ project “The Power of AR and VR” has been successfully completed at 2nd EK Piraeus, marking the conclusion of an inspiring and innovative learning journey.
The final stage focused on the most practical and impactful module of the programme:
🚀 Module 6: Integration and Practical Implementation
During the last workshops, participants moved beyond theory and explored how Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) can be effectively integrated into everyday teaching and learning practices.
Key activities included:
🔹 Practical Application – Testing AR and VR tools in realistic classroom scenarios and educational settings
🔹 Addressing Challenges – Discussing technical issues, accessibility concerns, and practical barriers while identifying effective solutions for implementation
🔹 From Learning to Action – Exploring strategies for confidently incorporating immersive technologies into future educational activities
This final module demonstrated that the future of education is already here. Students and teachers have become active creators and innovators in digital learning environments, equipped with the knowledge and confidence to use immersive technologies in meaningful ways.
