
LTT in Athens and Piraeus (April 6–10, 2025)
The international LTT training, held from April 6–10, 2025, in Athens and Piraeus, aimed to pilot IO1 and enhance participants’ skills in utilizing AR/VR technologies in education. The program included a wide range of activities, including practical workshops, lectures, study visits, and cultural events. Participants had the opportunity to explore modern teaching methods using immersive technologies and exchange experiences with project partners from various countries.





The training featured visits to significant landmarks such as the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus, the Acropolis Museum, the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology, and the Eugenides Foundation, home to the state-of-the-art digital planetarium. Additionally, participants engaged in hands-on workshops focused on creating educational materials using AR and VR. The cultural program included a tour of Athens, with stops at the Columns of the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Panathenaic Stadium.




The training concluded with a certificate ceremony for participants and a summary of the IO1 pilot results. The meeting also served as a valuable opportunity to strengthen collaboration among project partners and exchange best practices for further developing immersive technologies in education.
