This year’s Minecon, which took place on Saturday, was a big disappointment for most of the players. We received three pieces of information:

  1. They gave us details about the Minecraft movie, but I don’t want to talk about it due to the very bad trailer.
  2. There was a discussion about a Minecraft event, but since it’s taking place in the USA, it doesn’t really matter to us.
  3. The most important part: Mojang has decided to release smaller updates throughout the year, rather than one big update per year. They announced two such updates. The first one will add hardcore mode for Minecraft Bedrock and bundles, which were introduced in the experimental features four years ago. The second update will include a new biome called “Pale Garden”

and a new mob, “The Creaking,” which will only attack when you’re not looking at it. You’ll be able to defeat it by mining a block called the “Creaking Heart.”

And that’s all Mojang presented to us. Personally, I’m very upset because we had to wait the entire year just for this. If you have anything interesting to say, leave a comment, and see you next time.
