3D Modeling in Blender – From Basics to 3D Printing

We warmly invite teachers to a unique training session taking place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the new premises of the Gdynia Teacher Development Center, as part of the Informatics Teachers’ Cooperation Network.

The focus of the workshop will be 3D modeling using Blender. The training is organized by Beata Chojnowska-Gąsiorek, a methodological advisor at the Gdynia Teacher Development Center, and will be led by special guest Jacek Kawałek, an IT teacher at Zespół Szkół Nr 1 im. H. Sienkiewicza in Kołobrzeg.

Mr. Kawałek is the creator of the project “KOŁOBRZEG 3D” (https://kolobrzeg3d.2lo.pl/) and the educational program “Applying Modern 3D Technology in Education.” As he says:
„3D printing is my passion – together with my students, I created historical models of Kołobrzeg, which are now displayed in museums, the town hall, and the basilica. In this workshop, I will show you from scratch how to model in Blender and use it for 3D printing!”

This training will be an excellent opportunity for teachers to gain practical skills in 3D modeling and printing that can be immediately applied in the classroom to engage students in creative, technology-enhanced learning.

We look forward to seeing you there!
