Historical Picnic in Budzistowo
Together with Prof. Tomasz Królikowski from Koszalin University of Technology, we had the opportunity to participate in the Historical Picnic in Budzistowo. During the event, we demonstrated how history can be presented in an engaging and innovative way using virtual and augmented reality technologies.
Visitors, including students, teachers, and local community members, could experience historical events and artifacts interactively, exploring 3D reconstructions and immersive environments that brought the past to life. The presentation highlighted the potential of AR and VR tools in education, showing how these technologies can enhance learning, stimulate curiosity, and make history more accessible and captivating.
The activity also encouraged hands-on participation, with attendees experimenting with VR headsets and AR applications, which made learning both fun and memorable. It was a perfect example of combining technology with cultural heritage, inspiring participants to explore new ways of teaching and learning.
