
Living in Kołobrzeg sometimes we didn’t appreciate advantage which it provide. Comparatively to other beaches in Poland, Kołobrzeg’s beach is incredibly clean and large. This is the frequentest reason why even foreign tourists are visiting this city. Talking about the beach is worth to say something about Lighthouse which is located near to it. As an interesting fact, I can say that the Lighthouse was first fulfilled its navigational function in 1666. Besides the amazing view we could admire planted crocuses around it which make a huge impression.

Walking along the promenade, which is as long as 4 kilometers and was announced as the longest promenade in Poland, we can see a lot of restaurants and cafes open to tourists all year round. Many restaurants, in addition to delicious food, offer beautiful views of the sea thanks to their huge windows facing the beach. Next to the promenade is Stefan Żeromski Park, which features a fitness trail (outdoor exercises). Additionally, in autumn, the park serves as a backdrop for beautiful photo sessions.

Being in Kołobrzeg it’s worth going to the pier, which is the showcase of this city. Driving or walking the Port Bridge you can admire the Salt Marina and the Yacht Port. Salt Island, where the Solna Marina is located, attracts sailors from around the world in the summer. Locals also enjoy numerous picnics and events.

The city center also offers tourists numerous dining option, an oceanarium and the Polish Arms Museum. The museum boasts the richest collection of Polish soldier uniforms from World War I and II in Poland. Visitors can admire a display of heavy equipment on the museum’s outdoor grounds. To sum up even if Kołobrzeg isn’t a huge city it can propose numerous attractions for everyone.
