A few years ago, I had the chance to visit Antelope Canyon during my trip to the United States. It was an unforgettable experience! During this journey, I explored many fascinating places, and I will share more about them in my future posts.

Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American Southwest, on Navajo land east of Lechee, Arizona. It was formed over thousands of years by water flowing through sandstone, carving out smooth and flowing shapes in the rock. As you walk through the canyon, you follow a narrow path between towering, colorful walls that seem to glow orange, red, and even purple in the sunlight. The way the light plays with the shapes and textures of the canyon makes it one of the most photographed natural wonders in the world.

Antelope Canyon is its division into two sections: Upper Antelope Canyon (known as „The Crack”) and Lower Antelope Canyon (called „The Corkscrew”). Both sections are stunning but offer different experiences. The Upper Canyon is famous for its light beams and easier access, while the Lower Canyon is narrower and requires more physical effort to explore, adding an element of adventure.

If you’re planning a trip, it’s a good idea to check the weather forecast and be ready for any changes.Due to its susceptibility to flash flooding after heavy rains, the canyon is occasionally closed to ensure the safety of visitors. This highlights the dynamic nature of the landscape and the importance of respecting its power.

Stay tuned for my next posts, where I’ll share more about the amazing places I discovered during this unforgettable trip!
