

Jacek Kawałek was honored with the opportunity to participate in the activities of the Central Pomeranian Branch of the Polish Information Technology Society (PTI). This collaboration will involve numerous educational initiatives, including the organization of future editions of the “Od becika każdy klika” conference, which was interrupted by the pandemic.

Official Launch of the Central Pomeranian Branch of PTI
A press conference was held today at the Student Culture Center Kreślarnia to mark the establishment of the PTI branch in Koszalin, one of the most important IT organizations in Poland, bringing together professionals from the IT sector.
The conference was attended by:
- Dr. hab. inż. Tomasz Królikowski, Prof. PK, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Koszalin University of Technology
- Dr. inż. Aneta Hapka, Faculty of Electronics and IT, Vice-President of the Branch
- Dr. Tomasz Parafiuniuk, Faculty of Humanities, Vice-President of the Branch
- Marek Woźniak, PhD student, Vice-President of the Branch
- Jacek Kawałek, teacher from Kołobrzeg, Vice-President of the Branch
Prior to the conference, a ceremonial presentation of a 3D model of the Dźwirzyno Church—created by Jacek Kawałek—was held. The model, printed at the Koszalin University of Technology 3D Printing Center (coordinated by Prof. Królikowski), was designed for visually impaired individuals and will be placed in public space as an example of combining technology, accessibility, and education.
