Sometimes we can say that loser is „the winner”… but why? The loser may demonstrate better technique, which causes the team or player to lose with style and the viewers respect them more than the winner.

An example of such a situation could be the lost match of Kotwica Kołobrzeg (This is our local team) with Krosno in basketball (it was September 29th 2024). Krosno won against Kołobrzeg 70 to 66 points. It was the opening match in the men’s 1st league. After the match, the coach himself said that it was a good match despite the loss. Kołobrzeg showed class, but their opponents had a little more luck.

IMO, the player of the match was Filip Zegzuła, because he scored 16 point and stole the ball 2 times. Also Jakub Motylewski deserve a mention, because he scored 6 point, he made a few assist and blocked opponents 3 times. I think that we can be proud of our team despite the loss.

Let’s hope that the next match between Kołobrzeg and Poznań will be a success for us. This game will take place on October 5th at 6pm in Poznań. The match will be difficult, but…
