VR Idioms on the School Evacuation Plan
As part of the Erasmus+ project The Power of AR and VR: Igniting Passion for Learning Through Innovative Technologies, IT students from our technical school created VR scenarios in CoSpaces Edu to illustrate the literal meaning of English idioms.
The foundation of the project was the school evacuation plan, designed earlier by the students. Using this as a blueprint, they transformed the map into an immersive 3D space and adapted it to represent idiomatic expressions.

🕹️ Example: “To be lost in a maze”
The evacuation plan was turned into a labyrinth-like structure. Students placed an avatar inside, wandering through corridors and exits, visually representing the idiom’s literal meaning. Sounds, lighting, and interactive elements made the VR scenario even more engaging.

🎥 The project outcome was recorded as videos and published as part of our eTwinning collaboration, demonstrating how technical knowledge, creativity, and language learning can come together through innovative technologies like AR and VR.
