Slovakia is often overlook tourist country though it offer a quite a few beside with it’s size. Mention about this country you need to sensify to gorgeous capital city- Bratislava which afford amazing old town, Michael’s Gate or adorable Church of st. Elizabeth.

Moreover apart from cities I recomend to visit a showcase of this country i.e. mountains and exactly The Tatra Mountains from the Slovak side. Mandatory point is Bielanska Cave which include the route of length 1370 m and cover 860 stairs. During sightseeing you can see dripstone waterfalls, stalagmites, stalactites or lakes. The main attraction is ,,The Singing Room” – the lake where the falling water droplets create sounds resembling a melody.

In the Slovak Tatra Mountains prevail a large amount of lakes that are puted in higher parts of the mountains. Definitely one of the most beautifull views on mountain trail is Poprad Pond which suit our Morskie Oko. This lake is located at an altitude of 1,494 meters above sea level in the Mięguszowiecka Valley. Being in this part of the valley, you can observe Rysy, Mięguszowskie Szczyty, or Koprowy Wierch.

If you want to see majestic ruins of a medieval castle from the 13th century you could go to Uhrovec Castle which is located in the discrict of Banovce over the Bebravou. The castle was built after the devastating Mongol invasion of Polish and Hungarian lands. Given its unusual location, it was likely built as a refuge from danger for one of the wealthy families.

Slovakia should be purty for tourists because of the prices beside to others European countries. Unfortunately climate and attractions are hightly close to our polish standards and this is the reason why it’s low popular.
