The prom, also known as the celebration that occurs 100 days before the mature exam, is one of the most significant days in the lives of every high school student, and I would like to introduce it in today’s post. They say you only have it once in your life, so it’s important to enjoy it and make the most of it. December has started, so I consider the prom season to be open. Everyone wants this day to be unique and special. We want to stand out with our outfits or hairstyle.
There are some guidelines to follow, though. Before you attend the ball, consider the following suggestions.
„Keep your heels, head and standards high”
-Coco Chanel
1. Get your feet used to walking in high heels
In order to last as long as possible in high shoes, you need to get your feet used to them regularly, ideally two weeks before. Try to regularly wear your dream prom shoes at home. If you still feel uncomfortable after a few days, remember to get gel toe pads, leather heel cups, stabilising full-length insoles or other gel patches.
2. What dress to choose?
Surely the closer you get to the event, the more often the question pops into your head: what prom dress will be best for me? The look, the colour, the cut and the comfort are all important. So which dress will be a hit? Long prom dresses have, of course, been a hit for many years. Finally, you can feel like a real Hollywood star. The maxi prom dresses will add a chic touch and are best suited to the dress code, as they are not defiant but look truly spectacular. Long prom dresses can not only be worn by tall girls. For shorter girls, we recommend suitably high stilettos. Remember, however, that the outfit you wear has to suit you first and foremost.
3. What should men wear?
Although men usually have it easier when it comes to choosing their clothes, they should also think about choosing the perfect suit. Colours ranging from black to grey to dark blue work best. A colourful lining, matching tie or bow tie and shiny shoes are the recipe for the perfect accessories to create an elegant and stylish ensemble.
4. Positive vibe
Above all, don’t forget to be in a good mood. Make the most of this party, have fun to the max! It’s your special night.
We hope these tips will make your prom preparations easier. Share your opinion in the comments!
