On April 16, 2026, as part of the project “Data Journalism for Climate Action” (2025-1-PT01-KA220-SCH-000349408), a series of educational activities and workshops focused on climate communication took place.

The programme included the module “Data Journalism and Visual Communication for Climate Education (Module 3)”, delivered by participants from Latvia. This session explored how data-driven storytelling and visual tools can enhance public understanding of climate issues and support more effective educational practices.
Following the session, participants took part in a coffee break and informal networking time, which provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss ideas, and strengthen international cooperation.

The next part of the programme featured the workshop “Digital Tools and Resources for Climate Education (Module 4)”, conducted by the team from Turkey. During this session, participants were introduced to a range of digital platforms, tools, and practical resources that can be used to support climate education in both formal and non-formal learning environments.
After the workshop, a discussion circle was held under the title “How We Talk About Climate: Facts, Tools, and Responsibilities”. This interactive session encouraged participants to reflect on the challenges of communicating climate issues, the importance of reliable data, and the shared responsibility of educators and communicators in shaping public awareness.

In the later part of the day, all participants gathered for a shared lunch at the Fregata restaurant in Kołobrzeg, creating further space for integration and informal exchange.
The programme also included a guided city tour, during which participants visited key local landmarks such as the Museum of Polish Arms, the Basilica, and the Town Hall. This cultural component enriched the experience by allowing participants to explore the historical and cultural context of the host city.
