The DJ4CA project (“Data Journalism for Climate Action”) responds to the European Union’s priorities in climate, digital, and media education. Its main objective is to develop students’ and teachers’ competencies in data journalism, climate education, and digital skills in a practical and interdisciplinary way. The project supports the implementation of the European Green Deal by increasing environmental awareness, enhancing data analysis skills, and promoting social and civic responsibility.

  • Increase students’ knowledge about climate change and ways to combat it by 70%.
  • Equip 85% of students with the ability to create projects related to climate change and to assess the credibility of media sources.
  • Train teachers from each partner school in integrating climate topics into teaching and in data journalism.
