As part of the collaboration with the University of Pomerania in Słupsk, Jacek Kawałek led practical workshops for students of the Cybersecurity Engineering program. The sessions aimed to demonstrate how modern visualization techniques and simulations can be applied in cybersecurity education.
During the workshops, students had the opportunity to explore the use of animation, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) for creating interactive presentations, modeling threat scenarios, and conducting practical simulations to enhance learning and technical skills.
The training utilized materials developed as part of the Erasmus+ project “The Power of AR and VR”, allowing participants to experience the latest educational tools in practice. The workshops also provided a chance to develop students’ digital competencies and inspire them to integrate innovative technologies into their future professional work.
Initiatives like this show that combining education with modern technology can significantly enrich the learning process, increase student engagement, and prepare future specialists for the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity.
